Description

Ichtamol shampoo, containing ichthammol and the antimicrobial component hexamidine, is designed for washing a scalp prone to scaling. Beyond common dandruff, these symptoms are often associated with skin prone to psoriasis, atopic eczema, or seborrheic dermatitis.

The formulation prevents skin from drying out, as it is free from harsh surfactants like SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate) and SLES (Sodium Laureth Sulfate). It helps regulate sebum production and assists in controlling the microbial population on the scalp.

Key Active Ingredients

• Ichthammol: Obtained from the distillation of fossil shales. It possesses anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, and anti-itching properties. It helps alleviate the symptoms of eczema and psoriasis without the adverse effects associated with coal tar.

• Hexamidine: Acts against the growth of bacteria, fungi, and yeast cells, helping to maintain scalp hygiene and reduce unpleasant odors.

How to Use

Gently massage the shampoo into wet hair and the scalp. Allow it to work for 5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with water. For optimal results, use the shampoo daily for one week, and subsequently 2–3 times per week for 4 to 6 weeks. To prevent the recurrence of dandruff, continue using it regularly once per week.
